Corrugated Plate Interceptor

The core of the CPI system consists of a series of parallel corrugated plates installed inside a tank. As wastewater flows through the plate pack, oil droplets and solid particles are separated. The corrugated design offers a large effective surface area, promoting the coalescence and upward movement of oil globules to the surface, where they are collected. Simultaneously, settled solids slide down the plates into a sludge hopper. The clarified water is then discharged from the outlet.
